It has taken me all morning to gather my thoughts to even put down on paper. I really wish I could strike up a podcast, actively talk to people and share our thoughts. This is going to be a pretty lengthy post and all over the place but bare with me, I'm empty at this point.

Dear Shanice, I have been dating a man for 2 years now and have never been to a holiday dinner. I have never been to a family gathering of his period and he always "comes up missing" when I invite him to mine. Last year, I logged into his phone and added him on my where are friends apps on my iphone. I called him to see if I could come over and he said he wasn't there yet. I checked my app and pulled up on him at his aunts house. I called him again and he said he wasn't there and I told him I was "riding around" and saw his car outside a house and stopped.

We had a super late dinner and slept. I did 100 home, grabbed my hoe bag and headed downtown. (Don't act like ya'll don't or haven't had a hoe bag before. You know deodorant, razor, toothbrush, pair of clothes, and so forth)

Personal battles are the worst. I clocked out of social media about a month ago, other than a status on FB here and there, because I needed to find me. I was unhappy with life due to some decisions I have made, and I needed to start taking responsibility for those things and get back to my happiness. As I am on this journey back to my original self, I want to talk about responsibility.
