How was your weekend? Did you eat some GREAT things? I was craving breakfast so bad on Saturday morning, but I knew that we were going to see a movie that night and we would be stopping to eat out so I just daydreamed about an amazing IHOP breakfast.
Saturday Morning I had a Strawberry Pink Lemonade Smoothie(receipe below). It was good and thick. I added strawberries because fruit makes the shake thicker and the pink lemonade was a little tart by itself. If you like that tart taste, then just add more ice and no strawberries and you should be good to go. I went on a morning jog and had my shake afterwards. It usually takes me about 30 minutes to drink the entire thing but I KILLED IT in 10 minutes. Thristy much?
That afternnoon I had an Oreo shake(recipe below). OH ME GEEEEEEEE!!! It was so good I licked the cup! If you have a sweet tooth and are having to fight yourself to stay away from the kitchen, or bakery at the grocery store. THIS IS FOR YOU! I know I said the strawberry cheesecake was a piece of Heaven but listen ..... this taste like something from Steak - n - Shake!
Sunday I had a Fruit Medley ( recipe below ) that I put to many pineapples in. YUCK! Next time I will leave them out. My mom loves pineapples and I cannot STAND them. My stomach is hurting just writing this.
Sunday Afternoon I re created the Strawberry Cheesecake. Ok so remember the old recipe was a little tart right? I FIXED IT! My hunny loves strawberry cheesecake but he wanted no part in that shake anymore. So I went and bought Cheesecake pudding mix and instead of the cream cheese, I added the mix. WAH-LAH! I had dinner at a friends so we had these for dessert. Lets just say he is requesting that one again!
I know this post is long but I just want to give a few highlights on things before my weigh in on tommorrow.
- I have had a lot of energy since I started the shakes.
- The bag stated 30 meals, not 30 days. I was confused on that because our bag is almost gone. Glad I order that other bag sooner than I was!
- For two people Almond Milk will only last you about 3/4 days. Buy them in bulk and freeze them.
- If you want your shakes thicker, add more fruit!
- MAKE SURE YOUR EATING ENOUGH! Keep up with your calories because if you are not putting enough in your body you will not lose any weight.

Strawberry Pink Lemonade - 6oz almond milk, 2 scoops of mix, 1 tbps of pink lemonade concentrated juice, 5 frozen strawberries, 4 ice cubes.
Oreo Shake - 6 oz Almond milk, 2 scoops of mix, 1.5 tbps of oreo pudding mix, 4 pieces of ice.
Fruit Medley - 6 oz of Almond milk, 2 scoops of mix, 3 pieces of strawberries, pineapples, peaches, 3 ice cubes.
NEW Strawberry Cheesecake - 6 oz of Almond milk, 2 scoops of shake mix, 4 frozen strawberries, 1.5 tbps of instant cheesecake pudding mix, and 4 ice cubes.
